Max Stone is a former Police Chief. He believes in the the notion of law and order, often times working for free to solve disputes. He strives to see a semblance of that in what remains of post-apocalyptic America. Often he can be found offering to assist people he comes across. And beneath his often stoic personality is a tender heart who cares for his fellow man.
Character Motivations
He does it out of necessity, Stone's moral core has kept him both alive and sane in the ever changing world he now lives in. As a former Officer of the Law, he feels as if its still his responsibility to keep his community safe, even if that community is whatevers left of civilization. He wants to see law and order spread across the ruins of America, to be a base for a new society.
Physical Appearance
Max Stone is a 56 year old Caucasian male. Standing at 5'11", he has a well toned if worn body for his age. With a straight posture and ample muscle mass, he isn't as young as he used to be considering he's in his late fifties. But he's kept himself busy and in shape, even if his age is slowly creeping up on him. With a mop of shaggy hair, and a well kept, if often messy beard covering his face. With Hazel eyes, and almost completely gray hair.

Biography
Max Stone was born on December 17th, 1973. Growing up in the Town of Rosewood, Kentucky. He spent his early youth excelling in his classes, and striving to be a lawyer. In his teenage years he lost his father to a break in, losing his father put he and his mother in a tight spot financially, forcing young Stone to learn early on the harsh realities of life. Despite his setbacks, he graduated with a law degree in 1993 at the University of Louisville. In the Spring of 1995 he started his tenure as a Police Officer, working his way through the ranks before replacing the active Police Chief in 2005. Being the Police Chief of a small town, Stone often didn't see too much action. Spending his days filing paperwork and keeping the community of Rosewood safe, be it from teenage thugs, to escaped convicts from the nearby Rosewood Penitentiary. Yet things changed in 2014, once the Red Eye Virus began to rapidly spread across the globe. His precinct was quickly overwhelmed by the infected, forcing his remaining officers and he himself to flee from the city. Fifteen years later, Stone is alone, the last of his precinct, entering the ruins of Monroe, New York.
