John Welsh; or Johnny, or even Welsh, is almost a walking Redneck stereotype. He's a working class family man, family values mean everything to him. John isn't afraid to get his hands dirty to protect the ones he loves most, even going as far as to give his own life for them. Anger is also a major problem for John, he struggles to maintain composure, letting emotions get the better of him.
Character Motivations
My character aims to provide for his friends/family, he strives to make sure they're looked after and safe. He hopes to find a permanent spot for his loved ones to live, having constantly been on the move since the epidemic.
Physical Appearance
John Welsh stands at 6 foot 1. He's fairly underweight but still has some muscle mass from all the manual labor he has to do. He's got balding hair and a big bushy beard, colored gray/almost white. He has yellow; crooked teeth with some being missing, he has ice cold blue eyes, one of which are lazy.

Biography
John Welsh struggled to make ends meet before the pandemic arrived, moving from job to job like there was no tomorrow. Eventually he found a good position as a bricklayer at his buddy's construction company. This, however, didn't last long at all. It was only a month or two after he started work when the news hit. Oculurubrus had spread throughout the country.
John took his wife and daughter all across the country, moving from settlement to settlement. As they reached Atlanta, John and his wife noticed their daughter had taken ill. Fearing the worst, they found an abandoned house in a suburb and decided to set up camp there, they made sure to keep their daughter quarantined in the bathroom.
It only took a week for what John had feared most to happen, his daughter turned. She broke free from her quarantine and attacked John's wife right in front of him. He didn't have the heart to attack his baby girl, so he ran outside and locked the door. Leaving his wife and daughter alone in the house. Now John was alone, just like everyone else.
John has spent the last fourteen years on his lonesome; he met friends only for them to die, he found a home only for it to be overrun by a horde of corpses. John has become something unrecognizable to his former self. He killed, he stole, he even did some very unspeakable things. The only thing that keeps him going are the old memories of his wife and daughter.
