A friendly fella. An optimist that sees the good side of most all situations. He likes to keep people in good spirits, joking around or saying positive things. He can be sarcastic to people he doesnt like. Easy to approach and talk to. If he doesnt like you and yet has to work with you he keeps it professional, but he doesnt hide his feels from people.
Character Motivations
He lost everyone as must people did. As easy as it would be to just give up he knows that his family wouldnt want that. He believes in the good in people and if hes alive the way he sees it, he can help someone or be a light for someone whose sinkin into darkness.
Physical Appearance
Hes a big fella. but strong. He wets his black hair and twists it into a manbun before it puffs out into a afro. Hes biracial half white half black. He has a scar down his abdomin about 5 inches long from a childhood surgery. He has a scruffy beard. His eyes are dark brown and he stands about 6'3

Biography
Before the Sickness He was a typical highschool student on his last bit of HS journey. The sickness was across the water and so far from his mind he could careless. It was on wards to graduation and then a trade school to become a Sec guard for a few years then change careers a few years later. But he keeps on the job cause its good money and so easy atleast where he was stationed.
When the days come to a end he is waking up to go to work. A Security guard for a distribution warehouse, His job for him is actionless. Hes supposed to keep vagrants, homeless and would be thieves away but no one ever comes around. Which is fine for him, free money. On his days off he does go to a local boxing gym and or shooting range to keep himself from rusting over, just incase his job suddenly gets exciting. However, he is a chronic asthmatic. So he is overtly cautious when doing physical tasks. Which isnt a good trait for a Sec Guard. but he manages and he keeps medication ready. But on most every day his free time is filled up with gaming, or tinkering with model kits.
When news of the outbreak started to get televised It didnt worry him, he thought it was another come of the mill things to come and go. He was an introvert most days so staying home wasnt a big deal to him. It didnt hit home bad til calls from his family that moved up in Philly came down. No super close but some people on extended sides. Then the next day he got a call that hes being laid off cause the companied was sold and all that crap. He had enough in the bank to tide him over til this sickness ran its course and the world opened back up. By this time fear set in cause the whole of America was in scramble and all facets of information is jammed with news of this sickness called Red Eye. He waste no time like other people did got what he could from stores Medicines and whatever food and water that wouldnt expire to fast.
When Videos of Europe's clash with the sickness leaked, He saw tweets about the vids but could watch the panic killings and mobs. By now he was hunkered down in his apartment. All Contact with family in Philly has halted, Even from his parents but he was to afraid to leave. Luckily he was slightly a prepper and had some gear ready to go. He didnt have stores of supplies like other preppers more of a go bag that had essentials specific for him and a good start of non perishable foods.
As the world fades into a apocalyptical Dark age and his supplies runnin low. He grabs his bag, his security gear and the last bit of his food and heads to that Mall that Nathan fella was talkin bout on the radio. But when he decided to leave it was to a late and He needed to know what happened to his parents. They took there own lide and left a note for him Which he keeps to this day. He headed (after burring them) He went to return to his apartment but it was up in flames. He was a Virginian and was country and city. He Drove aimlessly in his beat up til he ran out of gas. then he hooved it. He kept moving.
He kept to himself for so long. Turing an old deer stand into a temp shelter for the longest. But winter came and would drive him north, he ransack abounded houses. Forage and hunt to keep full. Making improvised bow and arrows. Keeping the small amount of bullets to himself. For years. Move, hunt, silent, secluded, Repeat. But he felt his mind breaking in this self isolation. HE caught the crackle through his radio of survivors in a place called Monroe. He Set course for there.
