Tonight, we ended our current lore, The Lone Star. We know that this is sudden, but a number of circumstances led to us making this decision. Mainly, a lack of interest from players and admins alike. The Lone Star was never meant to be anything big—just a generic sandbox lore to help the admin team get their footing. Nevertheless, it's still disappointing to end a lore early. We hope that you all had fun, though! Your stories may not have been able to be played out fully, but knowing that many players enjoyed the lore immensely is enough for us.
Now, the big question: what's next?
Everyone is waiting for the animations update. That most likely plays a big part in the lack of activity on the server. Therefore, we won't be running another full-length lore until the update's stable build has been released. Until then, we'll be running a mini lore! This lore will run shorter than your typical lore (1-2 months vs. 3+) and will be focused on a concrete story. We'll be releasing more news on the mini lore as we solidify the story. Expect applications to go live within the next week or two.
Looking at the results of our recent poll, supernatural and six-years-in won by a landslide. After some consideration, we've decided to combine both ideas for our next full-length lore! We'll be releasing more information on that as well in the coming weeks. It's still a very large WIP, but it's going to be big. We expect to launch it as soon as the stable animations build drops!
