Biography
Jim, or Jimmy, was born September 1st, 1959 to a medium class family just outside of Newark New Jersey. He went to public school, being a smart kid and receiving above average grades. He played football in highschool, playing as a wide receiver. Though he quit after an ankle injury his Junior year. He was averagely popular in school, having a few friends that he was close to throughout his entire student career. He started working at a Steak ‘n Shake his senior year, working their as a griller. He graduated high school on time, and received his diploma. He was also awarded a scholarship to Rutger University based on his academic success.
Once out of high school he continued to work his job at Steak n’ Shake, and attend his classes at Rutger university. At the time he was looking to be an engineer. This job wouldn’t be as exciting though. His entire life has been pretty, boring. He wanted something refreshing. So he took inspiration from his father, being a police officer, he liked the idea of becoming one himself. Since he had to attend the police academy at the Newark Police Division, he quit his job at Steak & Shake. While at Rutger he took several classes on Criminal Justice. He graduated from Rutger, receiving his bachelor's in engineering and criminal justice. He also graduated from the Police Academy.
He found a job down near the Capitol, Washington D.C. The station was right downtown, luckily he was able to find an affordable apartment a few blocks down from it. He wouldn’t do much besides his work, maybe occasionally being with work friends. He rarely smoked/drank, usually only doing so when he was extremely stressed. He kept himself in healthy shape. In the mornings to really wake himself up he’d stop at the nearby coffee shop. He’d get coffee, black, the usual for him.
What was unusual for him was meeting a girl, the right girl, Madison. During his high school days he had his fair share of crushes, nothing too serious. Not like this women. They had good chemistry, able to make each other laugh and smile. They started seeing each other every morning at the coffee shop, becoming friends. The friendship turned into a romance, and the romance turned into pure love. After dating for awhile they would eventually become married. There was an age gap between the two, but they didn’t mind. Soon after getting married they bought a house together just outside of the D.C. area. Jim continued to work as a Police Officer at the same location for quite some time. He enjoyed his job, and his new marriage. Life was good.
Jim would be promoted to a Detective, after serving many years as a police officer. He was the right man for the job. He was smart, clear headed, and had a good education background with criminal justice. Working as a Detective was different from being an officer. He was with friends less, mostly working on cases on his free time. He became a sort of workaholic. He wasn’t able to see his wife Madison as much as usual, but they still loved each other greatly.
Things went on like this for awhile, the two never really fought. They had a happy marriage. By the time Jim was in his mid 30’s they decided it was time for a baby. But Jim was too busy with his detective work to be able to be there for his child. Madison convinced him to retire, and go back to school to finish up his education on engineering. And so he did, finishing up his classes to be able to get a degree in engineering rather quickly. So now he could do his work mostly at home. His new line of work was mostly just creating blueprints for construction designs. So he’d have to have an office at home. They’ve been living in the city together for a couple years. They thought the loud noisy city was no place for a child, so they started searching for a new place to live. They found a nice place in Ashwood Cove. Madison had her baby, they named her Marley. Now the three have been living in Ashwood Cove for about a year, and things are going well.
Recently Jim was tasked to travel to London to discuss the specifics of a design. Though he thought of this as unusual the client was paying for his flight, business class, and for his room. Madison convinced him she would be fine at the house so he took the offer, flying from Ronald Reagan National Airport to JFK International to start his flight to London.
