≫ WHAT'S UP WITH GATEWAY ROLEPLAY? ≪

  • We've been radio silent for a long time now. We posted an announcement in our Discord server back in April of 2025, but never updated the forums. So what's up with Gateway Roleplay?

    After 5 long years, we've decided to place the development of Ties That Bind on an indefinite hold.

    This doesn't mean it's cancelled. We fully intend to run Ties That Bind: What Lies Beneath and Ties That Bind: City of Angels eventually. But to do so, we need to take a step back. In the meantime, we'll be working on smaller, invite-only projects.

    Thank you to everyone who has stuck with us this long! MindGate and I (Pika) have been working on this server for over a decade now. It truly is a passion project for us.

This is a simple guide to show you the value of each monetary item relating to The Coalition of Pittsford and Fairport's economic system. This currency system will not be exclusive to them, though it is primarily used by their traveling caravans/traders. Expansion efforts into The Barrens and beyond have normalized the form of currency for some, but others still refuse to adopt it, seeing no value in coins and paper money at this stage in the world.

Once you accumulate enough coins, you can have them converted into a banknote for ease-of-carrying!

You will be able to acquire this currency by completing tasks, turning in bounties, or producing luxury goods for the CPF. Increments will vary from person-to-person and job-to-job. Please see our other posts for further details on bounties, production of luxury goods, and our general price rates for CPF traders (which you can base your own store prices around.)
